Fascinated by their look and behavior, I kept searching for a perfect spot to photograph Black Skimmers. This is what originally brought me to Nickerson Beach some time ago. (Actually, I need to check when exactly was my very first visit there 🤔. One thing for sure, there was barely any information online on that spot back then and Twitter was at its infancy🙈).
Despite large colonies of breeding skimmers there, skimming shots aren’t that easy to come by.
