Second year male Northern Harrier, also knows as Gray Ghost, flying low above the farm fields in search for food:

It was a warm winter afternoon on Indiana Rd, in Pine Islands, NY, when many local photographers gathered to photograph Short-eared Owls. As the day was still young, only harriers were hunting the farm fields. At times, flying very close to us.

What would you call a second year hawk? A juvenile or an adult?
