Short-eared Owl flying in the sky:

Short-eared Owl ( Asio flammeus ) flying - Ulster County, NY

Always a treat to see these owls in-flight during daylight hours even if it is the most common “bird in the blue sky” shot. What I like in this photo is the position of the wings and of course that the owl is flying towards the camera :)
